Christmas Fairs 2019
at City Arts Newbury

Stalls vary each weekend. A variety of local artists and artisans selling directly to the public, including, original prints, turn wood, ceramics, scarves, cards, sketchbooks, knitted garments, pencil drawings, hand printed and dyed t-shirts, jewellery, stained glass, apple juice, wild flower planting kits and more. Refreshments available and there will be a Christmas raffle with prizes donated by the artists in aid of City Arts Newbury building refurbishment project.

Join us for this fantastic, free community event for all ages! Chalkfest brings the community together, creating individual and group chalk drawings in the Market Place. An amazing day filled with excitement, creativity and very chalky hands!

Time: 10am to 4pm
(competition till 3pm)

Sowing the Seeds Community Day
at City Arts Newbury

Time: 10 am to 3pm
Age: All Ages
Cost: Free to visit
Activities: Pot Painting £3, Mural: Free

Join us for this community event with a special focus on the environment and in particular wild flowers and wildlife.
Activities include decorating a beautiful mini terracotta clay pot and filling it with wildflower seeds, ready for your garden or window sill.
There will also be a hand painting mural which will be hang on our wall, for everyone to see.

No Experience Necessary – All Welcome

Join us for our fortnightly sessions, for people interested in printing/ inks/ papers/ materials/ embroidery/ embellishing and more… where you can bring a work-in-progress, or start a new piece.

This is the perfect opportunity to get away from it all, every fortnight, enjoy some like-minded company or have some peace & quiet to yourself.

A fun and informal gathering open to everyone, with tea & biscuits, and plenty of friendly tech support from Karen & Lorna.
