City Arts Presents: Applefest 2018
Sunday 7th October, 10am – 4pm
Applefest is returning for its 3rd year, and we want to continue to celebrate this very apple-y community surrounding us.
This event is for all ages and everyone is welcome!
So, bring your unwanted apples down to City Arts, and we’ll convert into 100% pure, healthy City Arts Apple Juice – to sell throughout the year as part of our Fundraising Project.
This year, we have a number of activities taking place through the day including:
Glass Fusing Workshop with Nicky Clarke
Apple Pressing by hand
We also have our Snug Area with our fundraising Refreshments, all in aid of the City Arts Renovation Project
**Glass Fusing Drop-in Session with Nicky Clarke**
Come and make a fused glass tile with Nicky Clarke. Design your clear glass tile using copper wire detail, and coloured with different sized glass frits. Once made, the tiles will need to be kiln-fired, and returned to City Arts for collection within two weeks.
