We’ve got a day packed with activities, mini workshops and of course our **NEW SUMMER – WINTER PROGRAMME**

You’ll find us in the main square, former Bag Shop unit – look out for our sign!

The whole City Arts Team will be there, along with some of our Artists, including:

Come and make a portrait of yourself or a loved one to keep and display at home, or as a special hand-made present.

There will be tonnes of coloured paper and a choice of templates for hair styles, facial hair, clothing, accessories and more! So, you can mix and match to perfection, whilst having an artist to hand who can help with any added extras that make your portrait JUST RIGHT!

No Experience Necessary – All Welcome!

This five week course is for beginners and people with some experience of using their digital camera. It’s also for people who wish to improve their creative and aesthetic skills.

During the course, you will learn about all of your camera settings – including how to control light & exposure, shutter speed, ISO & depth of field. You will also explore composition & aesthetics – learning about what makes a great eye-catching photo. Each week, you will be taught how to read light and shadows, how to frame your photographs, what to look for when composing your shot and how to create dynamic and technically accurate photographs.

By the end of the course, you will know how to use your camera proficiently and how to take beautiful photographs for nature walks, events, holidays, family gatherings and more! You’ll also know what all of those buttons are for!

    I am a graphic artist who has decided to turn my hobby into something more serious, mainly due to such positive feedback from others. I am now producing limited prints of my work and will be building stock to attend fairs. I came across your site and would love to know more about the project and if you have openings for new artists?
