Pottery Workshop: Halloween Pumpkins with Ursula Waechter

Posted on Updated on

Saturday 20th October, 11am – 12.30pm

Prepare for Halloween, by making your very own funky pumpkin out of clay.

Potter, Ursula Waechter shows you how to fashion two pinch pots and join them to complete your unique Halloween creation.

You will learn about the ‘score and slip’ technique, to join separate pieces securely and then explore ways of giving your piece the proper pumpkin look.

Completed pieces can be carefully taken home on the day, air dried and used with a night light during Halloween.

Please bring a small container for transport. There is an option to have your pumpkin fired at a later stage.
