Learn all the basics of this simple printing process and produce a set of single and multi-colour prints in this structured but relaxed workshop. 

We will look at creating a design from your source material, safe linocutting techniques, and printing by hand using a variety of approaches. 

No experience necessary…..lots of step-by-step demos & individual help. For complete beginners and those wanting to refresh their skills.

Colour Theory with Louise Gunnersen

Saturday 5th May, 10am – 1pm

Whatever mediums you use, understanding how to use colour is important, from under-painting to applying glazes and making a yellow sing and a red recede.

In this half-day course, you will mix colours to produce your own colour chart, learn the importance of tertiary and complementary colours, experiment with saturation and have fun just ‘playing’ with paint and materials.

A relaxing, informative course of theory and experimentation, please notice that no finished art piece will be made.
