Collagraph printing is an exciting and creative way to work with inks and printing – this weekend workshop, with Pam Hardman, is the perfect introduction to this fascinating technique.
Check out Pam’s work here: http://www.pamelahardman.com/
We begin with a practical demonstration of making and printing collagraph plates, using a combination of intaglio inking and block-print plates. Participants will then make and print their own collagraph plates.
On the second day, there will be a short demo of printing a la poupee (using several different colours on one plate) and will include tips on wiping, editioning and maintaining the plates.
You will then spend the rest of the workshop exploring and experimenting!
Cost: £140 (all materials, tools & equipment included)
