The Panama Hat copy

Monday 11th & Tuesday 12th June, 10am – 4pm

Learn the different ways that gouache can be used, including quick watercolour-style paintings and mixed media compositions with painter, Kevin Scully.

Check out Kevin’s work here: www.kevinscully.co.uk

Gouache is similar to watercolour but it is an opaque painting medium. It’s quick coverage means that gouache lends itself to a more direct painting technique than watercolour.

It is a more controllable medium, that allows mistakes to be repainted – an ideal medium for small, detailed paintings.

Cost: £130 (2days, all materials included)
Age: Adults

Note from Artist:
If you would like to bring along any objects of your own to set up an individual still life arrangement, there will be an opportunity to work from this if you wish.
