Beverley’s Makeries: Beginner’s Sewing Workshop

“Beverleys Makerys would like to invite you to the City Arts venue, for a sewing workshop of 1.5hrs – where you will make a small item to take home.

There is a choice of kits, with everything provided and a basic sewing machine to use. Every kit is either for a beginner or an intermediate sewer and is included in the price of the workshop.

~ Cost: A bargain at £15!

There are Two Separate Workshops
~ 1pm-2:30pm & 2:30pm-4pm.

~ Age Limit: 14+ to work independently, under 14’s with a guardian

~ Places x12

Decopatch Workshop with Helen Mortimer

This workshop, with artist Helen Mortimer, is for Adults, Teens and Children 8yrs+ with  parents/ carers.

During this workshop, you will have the opportunity to design and decopatch an item of your choice; a selection will be available on the day.

There will be different, larger decopatch items for sale on the day, if you wish to do more.

This is a fun and creative way to spend time with your friends, family & kids.

~ Cost £12.50 per participant

Olympic Themed Silk Printing: Draw-String Kit Bags Workshop with Sarah Martinez

This workshop is centred around the theme of the Rio Olympics 2016…

The workshop attendees will be taught by two experienced art teachers, specialising in silk printing.

The design of your draw-string kit bag can be created using a range of images, from footballs to funny faces, or flags of the participating countries.
