 Friday 28th September, 10am – 4pm

In this workshop, you will learn how to make mono-types with Helen Lunn. This is the most painterly of printing techniques, each piece being unique, as the plate changes every time a print is pulled.

We will work into these prints, both wet and dry, to produce artworks which involve printing, drawing and painting.

I will introduce you to my favourite texture paste and concentrated liquid watercolours. Try out texture paste, gesso and a selection of water-based media and pigment to create dramatic abstract landscapes.

You will also learn how to make your own texture medium, to use in your mixed media paintings – developing an experimental approach to your image, using photographs, memory and pure manipulation of the materials.

Age: Adults
Cost: £55 (all materials included)

To Book: info@cityartsnewbury.co.uk
