Create Your Own Birdbox for Kids with Emma Green

Posted on Updated on

Monday 20th August, 10am – 2pm

This workshop is an opportunity to create a unique piece of artwork that can be displayed and used in your garden/ allotment/ window sill.

Inspiration for the design of the Bird Box will come from the foliage, animals, insects and birds found in British wildlife. This will promote exploration of the natural world and help young people to engage with nature and learn how to look after and preserve the countryside.

They will work on top of a pre-made wooden structure, selecting and layering a series of stencilled shapes and patterns to bring alive their ideas and designs.

No experience necessary.

Age: 10+, Teens (unsupervised)
Cost: £20 (all materials included)

To Book: info@cityartsnewbury.co.uk
