Monoprinting with Wendy Lloyd

A gorgeous mixed media workshop with textiles’ artist, Wendy Lloyd.

An introduction to a wide variety of monoprinting techniques that are suitable for use on fabric.

We will be using various mark making techniques, plus found, homemade and commercial stamps and stencils to create
your designs and prints.

Learn how to work with coloured copper wire in this one-day workshop, creating your own holly, mistletoe and winter berries as gifts or Christmas decorations – a perfect festive workshop for all levels.

Learn how to work with wire, use the tools and develop your own design.

Bring an image or a real plant to work from and a small pair of pliers, if you have them.

With a variety of themes available, including seasonal designs, you will personalise and produce a full set of 4 decoupage, decorated

Christmas Card Printing with Wendy Lloyd

Learn how to make no-cost printing blocks and print unique and stylish cards.

Christmas is approaching, so this workshop has a seasonal flavour, but the techniques can be used to make cards for any occasion.

You will go away with approx. 5 completed cards and the printed material to make many more, plus your own unique print blocks, and
handouts full of tips and tricks.

Group Leader Lantern Making Workshop with Isabel Carmona & Donna Lewis

Sunday 19th November, 2pm – 4pm

A free workshop for anyone running a local community or youth group.

Learn how to make a willow lantern for the Corn Exchange’s
annual Festival of Light so that you can make them with your group.

Go home with all the materials you need to make them with your group. A great way to acquire a skill and involve your group in a
fantastic community event.

Participating groups should be available to take part in the Festival of Light parade, Sun 10 Dec, 4pm.
