We do things differently at City Arts, so rather than celebrate Halloween, we are celebrating Dia de los Muertos: Day of the Dead, an ancient Mexican festival with some amazing associated art.

One of the key artistic elements of the celebration is the sugar skull and we will be using this iconic image in all sorts of ways in arty/crafty activities.
There will also be an element of education/key facts about the tradition for the kids to learn.

Entry is free and there are various individually priced activities (crafty and creepy) to enjoy.

There will be Home-made Soup & Bread, Tea, Coffee and Home-made Cakes to enjoy. Participating kids will get free juice and a biscuit.

We anticipate this will be very popular, so to help us stock appropriately and manage the flow, please let us know you’re coming by emailing us at info@cityartsnewbury.co.uk and say “we are coming” with an indication of number of participating kids.
