We will be open with our Christmas fairs two weekends…

These events are a wonderful opportunity to meet and chat to local Artists and Craftspeople, learn about their artwork, how it’s made and see a few demonstrations…
…And of course, buy something beautiful and unique for a loved one this Christmas!
*Stalls include, Original Prints, Ceramics, Silk Paintings, Photography, Jewellery, Christmas Decorations, Handmade Cards and more…
The stalls will vary each day, so something for everyone and it’s worth a return visit!

Printed Xmas Card Workshop
~ Sunday 13th November, 10am – 12.30pm
Gorgeous easy-to-make Cards.
Learn how to make your own no-cost printing blocks and print unique and stylish cards in this half-day class. Christmas is approaching, so this workshop will have a seasonal flavour, but the techniques you will learn can be used to make cards for any occasion.
You should go away with 5 completed cards and the printed material to make many more, plus your own unique print blocks and handouts full of tips and tricks. All the materials you will use are readily available so that you can go on to make many more cards and new printing blocks at home.
All materials and equipment will be provided.
This class is suitable for both beginners and experienced card makers, adults and accompanied children over 8 years.

City Arts: Free Poetry Gathering No5
~ Sunday 13th November, 2pm – 3pm
This is a very informal and friendly gathering for people who enjoy poetry, in all its forms. There isn’t a strict format to the event – participants may share their own poetry, or the work of a known poet, or simply listen to the readings.

Two days of Horrifying Halloween Activities and Freaky Festive Fun on 27th and 28th October 2016 with Kayleigh Eve
Dust off your brooms, don’t wash your hair and grab your cat to join the spooky, ghastly and devilish volunteers running this event, this October half term!!
This event will take place over 2 days, with 2 sessions per day.

On 23rd October, from 10 am to 3pm everything is going to be very “appley”!
This is a Fundraising event for City Arts to help us raise funds for the renovation of the Wesleyan Methodist chapel that we have our base on.
Come and help us create some City Arts apple juice for a day and experience all thing appley!
Bring us your unwanted apples and get a discount token (dependent on weight of apples donated).
Chop and press some apples into juice on the day.
The bulk of the collected apples will be pressed and bottled locally and will be on sale at City Arts for £2.50.
On the day, tea, coffee and apple-based goodies will be on sale…
